I've caught 6 dragonites, one was 98% best attacking moves and 1496 maxed it out at 3018 (im level 29), this was my next best catch 950ish cp. I just can't catch mid let alone high level dragonites. Not complaining. But 87% with 2nd best defensive moves + currently 60 candies should enable this to guy to break 2k easy, just dk if worth it. I mean I could spend dust on a 71% frost breath blizzard lapras

They got rid of it because it was causing too much server load and they wanted to release the game in more countries. Then. If I had to choose between a 60% Victreebel with Razor Leaf and Solarbeam I caught in the wild and a 90% Bellsprout I'd have to pump 125 candie sinto, I'd go with the Victreebel rather than risk a crappy moveset.

Sure, if i don't dodge, I'll die easily, but its really not hard to dodge. It literally flashes on the screen when you need to do it, and if you're not just tap mashing its easy.

Remember, Pokemon Go installed buffering recently, so if you tap twice in rapid secession you'll tell Pogo to do one attack, while you buffer and begin another attack immediately after the first has finished. Instead you need to tap once, wait for the animation to end, then tap again. This way you don't clog your buffer up with attack commands and leave that space open to dodge whenever you need to.

Not really. Maybe if you count by health points but Vap will lose less of its health bar %-wise. If opposing gym has Vap at the bottom and Snorlax as next mon, using Vap as your first mon is much better than using Jolt because Vaporeon will have more health after beting the first enemy and will do more damage to second opponent.
You seem to be forgetting you can dodge with Vap as well. Difference is, if lag catches you during opposing charge move, you will simply lose more health with Vap instead of outright dying with Jolt.
