The thing is, they clearly gave all the cool stuff to the starter they wanted to push/was more marketeable.

Had they not done that and either Delphox and Chesnaught would have gotten better stuff, or Greninja would have gotten worse stuff and they would be even.

Magician:
Any psychic type attacks that Delphox does steals the targeted Pokemon's item and will still be held by Delphox even if she is already carrying an item. So you can let's say you have a Delphox carry a life orb, use psychic on a pokemon with leftovers and now she has both a life orb and leftovers. She can only carry up to two stolen items and once she reaches that limit she can't steal anymore items until she uses one up. She is also immune to item affecting moves like trick and knock off, so if a Pokemon uses knock off on her, it will fail.

I don't know, I'm just thinking of a way to buff it while still sticking with the whole item stealing theme. Is being able to hold 3 items too much or just right?
