Ledian is a bro/shoulder mon.

Shouldn't be used for battling but for getting into shenanigans.


What I don't understand is how at least Beedrill and Butterfree are usable.

Ariados is slow as fuck, doesn't make sense because spiders are fucking fast.

Ariados at least has utility and a decent attack stat, like Ledian is there to just die. I guess you can set up screens with it but then what.

In GSC, Thunder and Ice Punch are special attacks. I just yesterday finished a Silver run in which Ledian was bro-tier with those two, Reflect, and Light Screen.

It's not so great in any other gen, though.

Well remember in Gen 2 the punch moves were all Special and the Special Def and Special Atk were just Special. So he was an Elemental Puncher.

But with the Special/Physical split giving it a lot of Sp Atk wouldn't make sense anymore. But they never buffed its Atk to make up for it.

Gamefreak should switch Ledian's attack and special attack and give it a 10 point boost in attack. 65 base attack is usable ingame. It should also be Bug/Fighting.

Aesthetically it's perfect. In terms of game design, it's a clusterfuck, feels like it was designed by several different people who never interacted with each other and had wildly different ideas.
