Going to be starting a playthrough of pic related. I want to do some sort of challenge run but not sure which one to do. Any ideas?
Also, since I have Black 2 beaten, I transferred the Challenge Mode option and have that on as well.

could prove to be interesting. Would still be picking Snivy so I can complete the dex in B2 for that sweet shiny Haxorus
I would say that challenge mode is enough, you might want to try stuff like eviolite Gurdurr/Boldore instead of evolving them, try using stuff like maractus or Braviary/Volcarona if you haven't.
Challenge mode once unlocked really ups the ante for some weird team compositions, the first two gyms in B2W2 felt a bit like if they where cheating unless you used Magnemite/Arcanine right from the go.

>no evolving
>no dark/psychic/ghost
>no sneks
why

>can use a koffing
don't think so mister

I've used those 'mons before, and they were great. If the challenge mode is as difficult as you say it is, maybe a Nuzlocke would be best? I think the encounters would be varied enough to give intersting teams...

I literally just started a Black 2 nuzlocke run myself, neato brudda

BW2 nuzlocke's are supposedly very hard, especially with challenge mode. Cheren is really hard though, so be careful with him.

Not just Cheren, the real total party kill starts at Roxie if you didn't get magnemite, Roxie is Whitney on steroids.
Also as odd as this sounds the bug gym is kind of insane on its own right with Leavanny at that level.

When I need a challenge, I just add one rule: any Pokemon that participates in a gym leader battle must "retire" after the battle. Forces a lot more strategic usage of Pokemon and team rotation.

Sounds similar to the N Challenge. I think I'll do that one next
