Mainly because I usually download multiple Pokémon games on my 3DS and other games and my 32 GB one is running low on space
Not to mention, 32 GB SD cards in my area costs fucking almost $60
Anyone know if 64 GB (or higher) SD cards are fine after re-formatting?
Cus I've heard a lot of people say they've run into problems with 64GB cards on their 3DS even if it's formatted correctly.
If not, which manufacturer is best to buy from?
Which types of Micro SD cards should I use?
Thanks

I did it yesterday!
I formated a Micro SDXC of 64GB for my 2ds.
It burned the 1rst adapter to SD size after a few minutes in the console, the second suported it and is still working.
I recommend Maxell.

Sorry, I don't quite get what you mean by this. Do you mean, it didn't work for your 2DS or it did?

No aha
I'm thinking of buying it online which is why I'm asking you guys who may have experience in this field of expertise. I checked some out and they cost way less than the ones in my area, but I just don't know which is best to buy..

I ran into no problems installing my 64 gb micro SD
I used the PC SD management thing and connected my 3DS's previous SD card to my PC and just copied the data onto the 64 gb one, then put the new one in
I did this about a month ago, no problems

It worked, but the adapter from microSD to SD died. I then tried with another one (Never try this things without backups) and it's been working flawlessly.

I have a USB SD reader so I'm fine on that front I guess lol
But thank you

i've been using 32 and 64 GB Sandisk Ultra cards for some time now on my o3DS, n3DS and Sky3ds+ and they've been a great investment so far.If you plan on buying one, just make sure its a class 10 card or you'll be experiencing random loading times.never ever buy ADATA
