I'm glad. When I play a Pokemon, I like to know where every pokemon is located, how to do everything, and how to evolve every pokemon. That's why I'm glad I played XY late, or else I would have had no idea how to get more "style" and had no idea how to evolve Inkay.

Also when I played XY I had to use a walkthrough one time because after you beat Team Flare in that desert like area with all the underground Pokemon attacking you, they say that Lumiose city has it's power turned back on, so I flew to Lumiose city and the power was not turned back on so I had no idea what to do. I had to read the walkthrough to learn that you had to walk down from the desert area place and see AZ, before they would start having the power on in Lumiose.

So I much prefer games to have all their information available when I'm playing them.

So I'm grabbing the data right now and I don't think the encryption key is stored on Nintendon't servers... they just placed a load of annoying lockout triggers when you try to bypass the security. There is no possible way for you to know you are supposed to see AZ first. What they should have done is, as soon as you walk out of the Team Flare place, is show you AZ, if they really wanted you to see him. Not make it possible to fly back to Lumiose without ever seeing him.

Lumiose is literally a few fucking steps south of AZ. The game expects you to go through the route you're on (as always) heading to Lumiose, find AZ, then enter Lumiose through the gate right below him.

It's not the game's fault. You don't know about AZ and you aren't expected to. You're supposed to go to the Power Plant, fight Team Flare, then progress through the rest of the route to get to Lumiose City (like the game tells you)

I know what I'm supposed to do now obviously I've beaten the game. However, if they really wanted you to see AZ, they should have shown him to you immediately after exiting the building where you defeat Team Flare, and definitely not made it possible for you to re-enter Lumiose city without defeating him.

It being the game's fault is 100%, because they straight tell you that Lumiose's power is back on, and yet when you go there, it's not back on. That's as clear a flaw as possible.

One leak from last month said that Ash-Greninja would be an upcoming demo reward. And it also said that the remaining Alola forms include Diglett, Ekans, Geodude, and Dodrio line.

Then there's another leak that said the remaining alola forms are all kanto mons and there's 4 left. The 2nd leak says that there'll be 80-90 pokemon.

It should've either 1) started the cutscene with AZ right away or 2) Actually turn on the power and have AZ wait for you at the location or 3) Have the AZ cutscene take place before turning on the power.

It's the developers job to think of all possibilities the player would take. And considering this was a very simple thing to fix, the fault definitely lies on the developer.

The size of the demo has nothing to do with the Pokemon data itself (that takes up less than 1MB). The 200MB came from the graphics, maps and some audio files that were in there. They even removed all the Pokemon models which is most of the 2GB or so that the game is.

And if they learned anything from ORAS they'll scrub the names of all Pokemon/abilities/moves that aren't seen in the demo, and all the scripts.

If the demo can be datamined or not comes down to whether or not Nintendo knew it happened last time.
Did they catch wind of it? If so they'll surely take precautions to prevent it happening again or if they didn't know/care about it last time it'll happen again
