I guess you mean a shiny. If you have a game with a dried out battery you can use the rng to set up a specific ID and be able to time precisely to get a shiny, so the difficulty is how precise you are.
Goin with random shiny, just as difficult as other games without the shiny charm.

Well atm I'm breeding phantump for the sexy white and red shiny. I've recently finished my pokedex and received my shiny charm. My first shiny was a chained elekid, then a chained vulpix. Then I proceeded to breed a shiny Honedge, and another shiny vulpix. I'm trying to breed a full team to start my OR cart over with. I'm thinking about breeding a shiny malamar, cacturne, and aerodactyl also. But the lineup is subject to change the longer I breed the more time I have to change my mind. Lol. It's definitely been a process.
