Its the one of the only routes I can recall offhand from x/y, because its very annoying. It not to bad to deal with, but its one if the more memorable areas in all the games just because it sucks. I'd say infamous is a pretty accurate way to describe it.

Monotype Normal run. Persian is surprisingly good, but the standout is Spinda. Watching Dragonite eat Teeter Dance, Hypnosis, and then a stabbed Double Edge was priceless. That little panda bastard is forever in my bro-tier.

Started out as monotype ground, because StormGold throws a ton of excellent ground types at you early on. I kept alternating between typed teams. Ground is a lot better type than I realized. You get monsters like Larvitar and Gible early on, but I had Quagsire and Mamoswine as totally unexpected bros. Mamoswine in particular was the only reason I cleared Pryce. Rounded it out with Flygon and Claydol. I want to like Claydol, I really do, but they're just so fragile.

Tried doing a ghost team- there are a lot of ghosts that I really love, and you can get Spiritomb early on. Maybe it's just because of gen4 move pools, but I felt like they ended up playing too similarly. Had Banette, Dusclops, Spiritomb, Misdreavus, Drifblim, and Froslass.

Samurott - Missed Gen 5 completely

Torterra - Always used monkey and penguin in diamond.

Gengar - Never had anyone to trade with gen 1, got distracted by other things in later gens

Dragonite - Always too late game or too impatient to train.

Blaziken - Obligatory starter. Kept because for the first half of the game had trouble keeping things at obedient levels.

Illumise - Never had any interest before... but I caught a prankster one with batonpass and am giving her a shot. Surprisingly bulky.

Did a No Grind (as in no rematches or trainging my pokemon to a specific level) playthrough of HGSS using some of the strongest Pokemon you could use during a playthrough. had a Scyther and Heracross before I replaced them with Ho-oh and Weezing The only struggle I had was against the Kimono Girl's Jolteon for obvious reasons. If I balanced my team more, I would have stomped them as well as I stomped everyone else.

Please someone help me. I'm stuck at Driftviel city (Challenge Mode) I can sweep all of Clay's pokemon except his excadrilll which is some how bulky enough to survive two swords dance boosted ice punchs from my Azura, and is also fast enough to outspeed every pokemon on my party.

Playing Rising Ruby right noe for the first time. I'm doing a catch them all run right now. This is my current team.

I'm really tempted to drop Gard and Greninja. I really like them, but I wasn't planning to use them and now that I accidentally into their shiny forms I feel obligated.

I also don't know how to round out my team right now. I have 300 something Pokemon just after Gym 4 in my bank but I can't really decide on anything which makes it frustrating.

Basically, looking for suggestions for a fun team to mess around in this romhack. Only member I wanna keep is Blaziken for sure.

Low sweep is the only physical fighting move I have on Azura (Adamant+Proud of its power, so she is an all out attacker, but special attack suffers so no Aura Sphere) and I don't have a way to learn anything else at the moment. Ice punch may not have STAB, and but it seems to be my best shot.

In Gen 1, as opposed to Exp Share, Gen 1 had a held item called EXP All which took the exp gained in a battle and spil in in half. The participating Pokemon gettin 50% of the Exp and then a;l of your other pokemon (even the4 one in from) getting 50% of the other Exp split in 2 to 6 ways. So basically for example if you defeated a Pokemon, that gave you 1000 exp and you have 6 members, the pokemon that ko'd it would get 500 exp+83 exp while your non participated pokemon recieved 83 experience. If two of those Pokemon particaped in the KO, then it would be 250+83 for the participated pokemon while everyone else receives 83, as long as they are not fainted.

If you only have two Pokemon, and the opposing pokemon gives you 1000 exp, then it would be 500+250 for the front Pokemon, and then your benched Pokemon would receive only 250 exp.
