I like the "rocky" look of the claws of the gen 1 style crabrawler. I just don't like how his current claws could be balloons. Stick the gen 1 claws on current crabrawler and it's perfect.

Now really, they are probably inspired by the gloves, AND may be round enough for you too call them balloons, but you shouldn't asume things can only be looked at one way.

There's nothing wrong with Crabrawler's pincers. They're shaped like boxing gloves. Even if they do look like balloons, that's clearly not the
intention.

Ok, they are in no way boxing gloves unless you're legally blind or are squinting so hard you put the chinese to shame. They are not shaped like boxing gloves. Hitmonchan has boxing glove inspired designs. Crabrawler's claws are not boxing glove inspired designs, and even if they are, it's a colossal failure of design since they don't resemble boxing gloves in the slightest. On the other hand, the shape of the claws are ovoid, like, for example, an egg. Of course, eggs aren't blue, except on Easter. I digress, the ovoid shape is perfect for egg-claws or balloon-claws, and in no way resembles boxing gloves except by stretching the truth like saying american cartoons resemble anime.

1) It's a crablike monster, if it has wrists they aren't bound to work like human wrists do.
2) They do fit they claw, this is mostly to show that you can drive and see the gloves.
They are not the most realistic and you can argue it's a design failure, but the conection is there.
3) Balloons are amorphous, try shopping it eggs, because I could argue that alolan exeggutor's neck looks like a ballooon.
