Don't get me wrong now, I understand where you're coming from.

The number of people who know and care about Ballio in the first place is small, and the number of people who can contribute anything to this thread is even smaller, so I know that the thread will be archived sooner rather than later.

However, that does not mean that those other threads that I mentioned are less of a waste of catalog than this is.

Unless these turn out being rejected design ideas or foreshadowing, I don't think that's likely.

Ironically, Gumshoos turned out entirely different to Yungoos, he restrains from eating rather than keeping its eating habit and obtain the detective motif compared to D.I's design which seems like a hungry hungry gobbler with tendency to lick (?). Feels inspired by pokemon with large tongues.

And wow, I'm more surprised Komala's evolution still hasn't been revealed.

Probably to make the Alolan's choice to bring in Yungoos to counter Rattata less foolish.
I mean, with a look and appetite like that, chances are the Yungoos will be more of a problem than the Rattata are.
Besides, it looks too much like it would be a Midnight form, which clashes with the Rattata being nocturnal.

Anyway, it finally gives me a good reason to name my 'mon "Dick" as opposed to just being immature, so I'm cool with Gumshoos.

I prefer detective Gumshoos though, but if he were to be in the game as such, I wouldn't mind him. Although the version exclusive thing isn't exactly a thrill.

Good thing Sun Dog is in the Sun version. If I ever get interested playing with the werewolf, I'll probably get him later, his animations in-game are amusing.

Having played both Megaman Battle Network and Star Force from start to finish, I can say that I'm used to exclusives.
... I'm still salty as fuck though.

So far I'm sticking to Moon, mainly because of Lunala. None of the exclusives so far appeal to me.
But we'll see how big of a difference the two games will have.

Exclusives aren't that big of a deal any more due to the series introducing the GTS system, things have gotten much easier now, so it's not like you'd be completely uncapable of getting, say, Passimian in your Moon version, it would just be more inconvenient to get since it requires trading to a extent.
