If you get an XL model, make sure to get a N3DS. It's not only bigger but also yoi can't actually turn off the 3D in the old 3ds XL (you can only lower it until it's not noticeable but still turned on). This means you can't avoid frame rate drops in pokemon and other games.

The graphics look good in a small 3ds, and they don't look bad in the XL models, only bigger.

Vita is region free so you can play any region game on any console, you can access the jap PSN on any region as long as you have an account for it on a different memory card.

That aside, I personally think its a nice change of pace. I love murder mysteries, and while out there, Dagan is something different, its a much more whacky and farfetched mystery rather then a sensible one, but the crimes are still carried out with a good amount of logic, and its always fun to solve the mysteries and catch the culprit. If you like AA, you'd like it.

If you spoiled yourself and watched the anime, you won't really care for the game itself.

Well excuse me for wanting something good. I've seen a screenshot from one of the games where the murderer's name was written right next to the body, and the text box said something like "it says '037.'" If all characters are that stupid, it makes the game seem painful to sit through.

The class trials are admittedly the best part. Ultra Despair Girls is utter garbage because it deviates from the VN format, has insufferable characters and terrible gameplay so I'd avoid it if I were you. Danganronpa as a whole is wacky and pretty stupid at times, but still fun so I recommend it. Also, Gundham is best boy.

you inject gba roms into the virtual console. running ds roms from the 3ds sd card is being working on and should be out soon(tm). the next best thing is forward ds games from a flash cart to the 3ds homescreen
