Top left mon is pikipeks final evo. It is heavily based off of Zorro. Steel/flying type. It carves a Z in it’s nest to scare away pokemon who may want it.

Top right is another island guardian. It is a pink dolphin. Psychic/fairy type. It swims around Akala island guarding any pokemon or people who may want to harm the island.

Bottom right is another island guardian. Fire/fairy type. It is the protecter of the land of it’s island. It helps keep pokemon in order. It has a very high temper.

Bottom left is Alolan Cofagrigus. There will be alolan forms of pokemon of other gens, but the majority will be Kanto mons. They do not want to reveal any other gen alolan forms and keep them as a surprise. Kanto alolan forms shown are for marketing purposes. Alolan Cofagrigus is fire/ghost. When a sacrifice occurs in Alola the soul possesses a tiki and becomes an alolan cofagrigus. It seems much more angry than a regular Cofagrigus.

Battle frontier will return.

Post game opens up the battle frontier, and you travel to a beautiful underwater city that you have to help fix because water is pouring in through the walls.

New type of pokemon that is meant to add more defensive pokemon into the meta. Will elaborate more if you guys want.

Z forms. Certain pokemon have certain potential that needs all of it's trainers power. The trainer's physique does not determine what the form will look like. These pokemon are extremely powerful but if they faint the battle will be lost. If you switch out they will revert back to normal. They need to hold an item for this to happen.

This new kind of pokemon brings new light to mid evos. They are extremely bulky but weak attackers and very slow. Certain new pokemon that have a 3 stage evolution line will have their middle evos as one of these forms instead. I believe they are called D forms or something. The starters middle evos will be the D-forms I talked about. Jangmo-o's middle evo also has a d-form. Komala evolves once into a wiser looking bear. Pyukumuku evolves once as well but I can't recall what exactly it does.

I'll use popplio as an example. Popplio evolves into Popplio-D (filler name). It is a popplio in a large bubble and popplios appearsto be sleeping inside with minor design differences. This pokemon is extremely defensive and and has low offenses and speed. It gets rid of all it's moves (moves come back when it evolves again) and replaces it with 1 support move. The water type "D-move" in this case creates an aqua ring on popplio-D and turns the other pokemon into a water type, like soak. When it evolves again it turns into the siren you've seen.

And do D-forms really only have ONE move? Being able to use Aqua ring + Soak in one turn doesn't even almost make up for not having ANY other moves. It basically just becomes setup fodder or gives the opponent either a free switch or a free move when you switch.

Wait, it has a MOVE that does that? Is it just for that turn, or is it for the duration of the battle?
How is that not strictly inferior to just running Toxic?
Because it's not like you're going to be able to actually KO any Pokemon with Poison-D-mon, since its only means of damage are poison and a Z-move, which keep in mind is going off a pathetic attack stat and can only be used ONCE per battle.
So why not just use a Pokemon with equivalent defensive stats, Toxic, and three other moves?
