Also, by needing to have Technician to at least rival Liepards damage output with Knock Off, Persian has effectively no ability in this comparison, while Liepard has an extra Prankster, one of the best abilities in the game for support moves at its disposal. Furthermore, getting rid of the opponents item is a much bigger deal than you might think.

Knock Off is stronger, but only once per Pokémon. Meanwhile Technician Bite gives a more consistent damage output which isn't reliant on them holding an item with barely any difference from Knock Off.
