My team as of right now

Just going to nuzlocke because I can't make up my mind. Then play through again with other pokes I want to use. Why can't Gamefreak into save files. I want to play the game and battle with friends. You play through singleplayer once, transfer everything over from the last game and battle until the new game comes out and THEN you can nuzlocke the last one. It's a tedious cycle.

I'm actually pleasantly surprised at how long it took to make this. I thought I barely liked enough Pokemon to make a team of 6, but it turns out over time a lot of the designs I didn't much care for kinda grew on me.

Probably just means you don't NEED to have a Pokemon in your team with an HM just to go somewhere. But I don't see why they would completely remove HMs if you feel like teaching it to a Pokemon that could benefit from it.

The problem with Trumpshoos is that he will probably have stat points that fall in line with the other route 1 small furry animal normal types. So I doubt it will exceed 420, and unless it really has some nifty moveset, that isn't gonna do very well later in the game.

I believe this is the most economical/optimal setup that covers the most ground, assuming Jangmo-o becomes Dragon/Steel.

Dragon/Steel resists fucking everything, and immune to poison. Bird covers both weaknesses, others cover also.
A-Marowak with Lightning Rod immune to normal, fighting and electric. Resists fairy, immune to burn. Team easily covers weaknesses.
Electric/Flying an insanely good type. Immune to ground and paralysis, wrecks other flying types. Team easily covers rock and ice.
Ice/Fairy has massive STAB coverage. Immune to dragon and freeze. Marowak resists 3/4 weaknesses, others also cover them and rock.
Bewear eats phys moves for breakfast, immune to ghost, versatile fighting STAB + near-perfect neutral STAB coverage.
Lurantis for grass status immunity. Rounds out defensive/offensive coverage, likely has either its own status or cleric moves, probably both, and good speed to use them.
