What's so good about raikou's design? I personally think it's one of the worst.

Raikou is nice, but I have Latios and Xerneas higher on the list.

I would go so far as to say Xerneas is a flawless design, since I can't think of a problem with it.

This. I generally gravitate away from legendaries, so I never worry about using them. But Deoxys is just such a cool concept, he's really tempting. Not a huge fan of the speed form, but all the rest are awesome looking. Cool backstory too.

It's kind of a waste that this happened in GSC. Ho-Oh was supposed to be a rainbow-colored Pokemon; they got it looking better than you'd think would be possible with a 3-color limit, but it's still not the full spectrum we could have gotten later on.
