NOT BRAVE ENOUGH FOR THIS
>>28775239
What's wrong with that? It'd be a great way to reward players who use strategy in-game. If they can actually track down a 'mon that learns hidden hessonite and use it against me, more power to 'em.

Fanmon Art (Popplio2 & M. Milo) are just referencial
I want there to be some run down building in postgame Sun and Moon that you get to renovate into a gym that you can send out for other players to challenge. Secret bases was alright but we could go all out.

Definitely would fit Crabrawler in here somewhere.
Gym Theme: Anger Management
Badge: Deep Breath Badge
The Gym starts with the player entering a reception area, where a trainer is sitting in one of the chairs. They'll challenge you to a battle, voicing their belief that therapy can help them resolve their emotional issues.
The player progresses to the sign-in desk, where the receptionist challenges you to a battle in order to bump you up on the waiting list.
You are then led into the office, where the therapist awaits you in a big chair. You battle him for supremacy, and he compliments your constitution and resolve. However, he reveals that he is not the Gym leader, as another trainer enters the room behind you.
That is the Gym Leader, late for his appointment. Having difficulty dealing with his anger issues, he has transformed his Gym into an office for his therapist, and you having interrupted their session gets him rather annoyed. He'll challenge you for the Deep Breath Badge.
Upon defeat, he is able to cool down, and thanks you for helping he and his Pokemon blow off some steam. He is reminded of why Pokemon is such a source of joy, as it allows him to focus his energy on something competitive and healthy, strengthening his bond with his Pokemon and diverting his attention from other worries. He gives you a new TM, either Final Gambit or Storm Throw.

I can't shake the feeling that there's another 'mon - in addition to primeape - with anger issues. Might not have been a fighting-type, though.

I know this guy is at least half trolling but honestly I love the idea of badges themed around things other than a type. A Team Girl Squad gym would be pretty neato. You could even have a call back the the Celedon gym in some way.

You lose points for ditching your Ratbro, but otherwise solid/10
>Leader Shiro/Leader Burke
>Shiro is a Japanese name derived from the word for white and is homonyms with the word for castle
>Preferably Shiro would also be the international name, but alternatively there's Burke, which is derived from "burg", meaning fortress in old English- and also sounds like "Burr". As in ice. Yeah it's similar to Burgh, but we have Roxie and Roxanne so...
>Shiro is the modern leader of an ancient, venerated clan of samurai who bonded deeply with the Pokemon of the mountains. He is called the "thorny ice rose", considered a handsome, beautiful man by the Furisode girls in his gym and a wise leader by the Experts in his gym.
>The gym lays within a large, blue Japanese castle. The trainers within are comprised of Experts and Furisode Girls, who all use Ice Pokemon. >The "puzzle" is fairly unpuzzling, but a bit complex-- the snowy courtyard of the castle, where Shiro waits, is closed off, with two sets of samurai armor on either side of the closed sliding doors. Both armors are missing their complimentary sword. The player must traverse the castle's various rooms to find the swords.
>In each room are two trainers, one of which can be walked by and another guarding the sword. The player needn't fight the guard of the sword either, and can instead answer a question relating to the history of the city the castle is in (with all answers able to be gleaned by visiting the city's museum or talking to NPCs). If they get it right, they can take the sword. If they get it wrong, they must "duel" (do battle) with the guard before taking the sword.
>Once all four swords are gathered, the doors will open and the player can challenge Shiro.
>Shiro will help the player against the evil team when they attack his city, and also lead them to an old shrine that pertains to the box legend
>Shiro will also later show up in an after-game dungeon as a buddy trainer, within which the player can find Articuno
Will comment on others in separate post.

I can get a feel of the theme just from the badge name and the Pokemon choice. Very regal gym, I approve.
Ghosts, but only cute ones.
>>28774012
Pretty good, could do with a different badge since no moon pokemon 7/10
>>28774805
Not sure what the theme is here? And I can't really tell what the badge is either, but you have a good type mix 7/10

>>28776819
Cute and fitting, I'd give you a 9/10 if some of your Pokemon weren't just grass types. So 8/10 I like that you have a different type but fitting tm.

4/10 for disappointing me and having bland-scissor as a tm.
>>28777173
Nice team set up and idea, maybe sawk instead of Medicham? Unless you use Mega Cham for the four arm image. 9/10
>>28777241
So Meditation pokemon, obviously. But where are the angry ones? All you really have is Primeape. 7/10
>>28779773
I'd go for Gorgeist or Mismagius over Sableeye and Gengar.

9/10 should go for Carbink - Diancie - Mega Diancie

>>28780586
Pretty good, I don't like the collages but you did it pretty well. A little confused why Weavile suddenly replaces a line and is simultaneously replaced by Bisharp. 8/10
>>28780630

I remember that face, I'm pretty sure I've seen it as a kid. I'd have to check what was its title in my language.

>>28783237
Here you go anon.
When you arrive in the Gym's city, the Gym is temporarily closed as the Gym Leader is off solving an issue in the city. Someone has been stealing from the citizens, and you assist the Gym Leader in finding the thief, a Pawniard previously abandoned by its trainer.
The Gym Leader is a reformed criminal (or at least reformed troublemaker) who turned her life around after getting the chance to bond with a Sandile. She now runs a sanctuary for trainers from troubled backgrounds and for pokémon who have been abused by their trainers. Pokémon often do bad things in order to please their trainers, or they're taught to be nasty and cruel. At this gym, the pokémon can slowly recuperate and be reformed into healthy and happy pokémon.
She focuses on dark-types because edgy trainers who would force their pokémon to do bad things tend to gravitate towards dark-types, rather than because dark-types themselves are bad.
The trainers that you battle are variously reformed students who are giving their pokémon training that day. Each of them relates ideas about caring for damaged pokémon (and people) and comments on the protagonist's strong love for their pokémon. The Gym Leader, Luna, gives out the Chances Badge, as in Second Chances, and relates the reform of pokémon to the ability of the moon to be dark or to shine.
She gives out a TM for the move Beat Up, discussing the importance of having your friends have your back. Afterwards, Luna gives you the chance to take the Pawniard that you rescued under your wing.
