Is Hoenn the comfiest region?
>>28750861
Yes
But Alola looks to be a strong contender
sinnoh!all of the regions are comfy except unova
>>28750861
Nah desu
>>28750861
Nope. It's Johto in HGSS.
It's comfy until you reach the part of the game that's entirely water
>>28750861
no, alola is
No, Johto and Unova are. Fall Unova and the road leading to Bell Tower in Johto especially.
>>28750938
(you)
>>28750908
Unova has comfy parts, too.
>>28750861
no johto is.
>>28750861
>Hoenn
>Being good for anything
Every region is comfy except Kanto and Johor. Gen 1 and Gen 2 are pretty good except they're bland vibe.
>>28750908
Sinnoh is a cold as fuck never-ending mountain range and system of caverns.
>>28750993
this/kek
Comfiest region iswhichever region you were playing through right before you stopped being happy
>>28750861
No. It's not Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, Kalos, and Alola.
None of these regions.
>>28751015
Wrong answer.
>>28750961
>>28751002
Can hoennfags not accept others opinions, while they have absolute garbage opinions themselves?
>>28751002
Sinnoh feels like you are constantly exploring the region and are always about to find something new.
>>28750861
No, the comfiest is Johto, no doubt about it. But Hoenn is the best region, regardless.
>>28750973
yeah but it's largely more modern/urban, still love the games tho
>>28751002
gonna have to disagree with you
Johto is the comfiest if we count the remakes. The original one is nowhere near as comfy. If not, then Unova. But Hoenn is definetly not the comfiest.
>>28751058
Sinnoh feels like you are constantly exploring Mt. Coronet.
Johto is the comfiest region
Hoenn is the most adventurous and explorable region
Unova is the coolest region
Those 3 re the best regions in the series.
Overall n1 is Hoenn.
>>28750908
Funny, I thought the region with a cozy training area next the comfiest forest, or a Southwestern Pueblo town with a haunted house, or the giant underwater tunnel that has seasonal variation for the sealife would be the comfiest as fuck region.
>>28751114
Gotta agree with this guy here
>>28751114
I think that actually elevates its comfiness, not hinders it. Having a central core that ties into exploration is the best thing a game can do imo, and finally getting to snowpoint after exploring every corner of the region, except for the peaks was the best thing ever. We need another region with a central dungeon.

I respect your opinion, but desu I feel like Hoenn's approach was better: long and diverse routes. For example, Route 111 and 119 are the longest land routes of every pokemon game, and have most remarkable contrasting features (a desert and a rainforest respectively)
Hoenn is different from other regions. Other regions have gates separating the routes from the city, but not Hoenn, which has cities completely merged into nature (notably Sootopolis, Pacifidlog and Fortree).

Don't get me wrong, Gen 3 was when I stsrted really geeking out over the series, but as much as I love Hoenn, I love when there is a central focal point for how the world is built. Hoenn isn't as bad as Kalos and there is a cohesive feel to it, but I cannot help but get the vibe that there is something disjointed to it with the desert and the rainforest.
