I was fighting a gym when someone else gave the killing blow. I quickly placed a mon and made my escape, walking around a bush when suddenly I encounterd a 6 year old girl with a bashed screen. She asked me if I took the gym and said yes. We were both Mystic so it worked out well. She then quietly followed me and we took over the next gym. I felt a bit of pride walking with my adopted lil sister. I felt compelled to find and beat up a valor nerd and let her stomp on his balls and get his phone

I recognize her username and I sometimes see her mons on those two gyms

How mad would you guys be if they released gen 2, but no storage upgrade to go with it?

There would be 251 pokemon but only 250 storage spots

Have come to the bitter realisation that the Mystic troops in my area are too overpowering and that I need to settle with less gyms, going down from 5 to 3. Still a good amount overall, particularly based on stories I've read here, but given the relatively small size of our town and how I can jog distance between the central gyms I felt it was a good goal to aim towards at the time.

Also believe I got to see my "rival" out on his nightly bike ride. Someone was training up a Lv 4 Mystic gym, which around here is a rare sight given how the top mon was close to 2k, and much to my suspicion, a new top mon was shortly placed by the guy who pretty much has a mon in every gym in our area. So if anything, the knowledge that he's not a spoofing teleporter at least made taking gyms not feel like a hopeless endeavour, despite the clear difference in resources between us two.

But like I said, my "rival" is more like an establishment, even moreso since it appears there are a group of Mystics taking gyms now which means that most gyms rarely only have two mons in them now. So while reclaiming gyms has been my response to the Mystic dominance, I realised today that there will still be 5 other gyms he's defending and thus cashes in for free each day, so I see no reason to put an effort into farming pots and then repeat the struggle the next day.

That said, definitely gonna reclaim the three central gyms as often I can. The last stand, if you will. The battle might be turned in their favor, but the war rages on.

It always fucking seems like the less perfect the IVs are the better chance you have of getting better moves.

Does anyone know if Niantic would answer an email along the lines of "Is an evolved pokemon's moveset random?" Because if I could catch them in a lid by doing a pretty thorough study that spanned multiple accounts it would make my fucking life.

Anyone knows if defending Vaporeons attack more often than other mons? Usually I can get in two-three fast attacks between their attacks and have time to dodge, but with Vape I can for the most part only attack twice and then get struck with its Water Gun.

Is it me or is buddy system pretty much useless. It takes way too much time and effort for what we get. I need 70 more candies for Machap. It means I have to walk 210km to get enough candies. So my town freed from terrorism for about two weeks is back to being completely taken hostage by this cheating scum again. I'm guessing this group of botters were banned for two weeks but probably made some appeal and now they got at least two or three accounts back. Is the pokesearch guy still around? would it be too complicated to make a custom search that only hit a half dozen of spots? I'm not sure if this is the case for many people but for me often there are just a few spots where it matters to scan, one is in a far away place where there are only 5 spawn points and 3 of them are together so it is pointless to scan all the area, just 2 or 3 bubbles would be more than enough. Another is when I'm at home at night and it is not safe to go out because I'm from a third world country so I would like to scan just the spawns that I can reach from home using GPS drift. This could save up on the server load and create faster results if many people adopt it at the cost of a custom cookie. Another option would be a spawn monitoring mode where you select a few spawn points and it automatically scan them every 5 minutes.

I found one of these in the wild for the first time today
