What's your favorite sidegame(s), /vp/? Mine is pic related. Interesting story that finally differed from the pokedex + 8 gyms set up, a lot harder due to the shadow pokemon capture mechanic and excellent music. Also, Mirror B. Being able to play pokemon in 3D on a TV blew my mind as a kid.

I liked pokemon conquest,if only for the fact that it had a gigantic amount of post-game "Mini-stories"
The main game was somewhat short, though.

Never before has a video game made me cry and never since. The story is so wonderful and heart wrenching and make you so happy and sad. I honestly can't believe it was a kids game, because it destroyed me emotionally.
I also love the top down grid style combat, it makes the game more intuitive and you have to watch your positioning as well as the enemy type and number of enemy.
Not to mention
>Comfy sprites
>10/10 music

>Fun characters
>Cool secrets
>Lots of post game
The only thing I don't like are the escort missions

This is so true.I never want to visit thel evel 1 dungeons ever again because of this.
I only played the beginning of the 2nd game but I 100% the first one just because I enjoyed playing it
SPMD, simply for the gameplay.
Mystery Dungeon aside, I'd love to see a second Pokemon Ranch game. That was a really adorablescreensaver

Pokemon Trading Card Game, hands down. But Snap and Conquest were also pretty cool
