I higly doubt they're gonna do that JUST for something like Machamp with No Guard Fissure to be prevented. HF does show interests for competitive, but that's it, just interests. And I don't think they have a full grasp over the entire scene.

And we do need more ways to get Hidden Abilities than just Dexnav, now that dream world is gone.

Basically with the possibility of pokemon being transferable from VC to SM, this could mean pokemon could be brought in with moves they normally couldn't learn since Gen 1 had some very interesting movepools. Take pic related. The reason everyone is going so crazy over this is cause in Gen 1, Machamp coupd learn Fissure and it was a TM (yeah, Fissure was a TM in Gen 1). And since Machamp has No Guard as a regular ability, which means you can't miss any hit, well you can make the math.

just because others can kill it well doesn't mean it's not a threat
