I dont like original Meowth, and I'm not too crazy about this one, but this one has more individuality in my mind, as I dont instantly associate it with "Meowth thats right!" bullshit.

Most importantly, this Meowth has potential when it evolves. Persian is really, super boring, but maybe having a Dark type flavor will spice it up a bit. Just hoping that A-Persian isnt just a pallete swap.

Alolan Meowth looked like shit to me in the concept art but when it was revealed in-game, I ended up really liking it.

The new Pokémon really aren't meant to be static, the animations of the 3D models bring them to life.
