ninetales is a GOAT pokemon but unfortunately it has such horrid awful stats. i wish they'd just fix ninetales. its supposed to be the counterpart to arcanine but it has far lower stats all across the baord.

It was a smaller difference in Gen 1 where they debuted.

Things change throughout the gens. For example, Magmar and Electabuzz had the same BST in Gen 1, but now Electabuzz has the lower one. Plus, Slurpuff has a higher BST than Aromatisse, to give you an example of that version-exclusive value meaning very little from start to now.
