I was trying to stay hopeful because the colors used in his name text could imply such (in the concept art) and he is technically a heel wrestler as depicted.

But if he turns Fire/Fighting, there's literally no redeeming him and asides from the very few who still aren't tired of that typing combination by now, people will hate that thing until the day they die only because "my quadrupedal" and "my anything other than Fire/Fighting type".
