I replayed most of them up to Adventure 2 in a blast of nostalgia a year ago, and I was shocked at how shitty they were. People complain about crappy gameplay, horrible controls and bugs galore, but A1 and A2 are pretty much just that.
And the story has always been "So bad it's funny" at best.
Strange how that shit was a lot more tolerable and cooler through the eyes of a kid.
