Come to think of it that would be a great way to distribute event legendaries. Instead of just handing them to you at the poke center, you go to a specific spot (always the same spot) and have a Totem battle against them, if you win they join you.

We have no clue, but it would be a cool feature if totem pokemon were like Gourgeist in that they represented the extreme in variation of sizes of pokemon. It would be another expanded feature from the "beta test" generation(hopefully).

Because so far it looks like the ones that make the most sense that haven't been revealed yet are

Passimian and Oranguru will obviously be version exclusive Totems, and going with the already revealed Totems

That makes 5 Totems we know of. Based on Mallow and Lana, Totems are based on the Trial Captain types. Vikavolt will more than likely be assigned to Sophocles.

So we still don't know the Fire-type Totem Pokemon or the Normal-type Trial Captain.
