The Pokemon world's physics at least loosely resemble the real world, meaning that even if its bow would work in-universe, it would still be better off just flinging the arrows like darts.

Tiny =/= weak. Muscle density is a thing. Cellular structure and different materials are a thing.

Psychic powers are a thing in Pokemon, but Rowlet's bow physics would only work as a psychic power, which then begs the question of why it needs the fucking bow in the first place.

Rowlet is by far my favorite starter since gen 4, I was worried it would be ruined by its evo so I'm glad to see it looks great, though it would have been nice if it didn't leak so early.

Yup, a bit sad. But well, I think the starters look good this time, though a bit too humanoid but I got used to that. At least I don't have to worry about Rowlet becoming a Grass/Flying defensive shitmon like Tropius or Litten becoming a better Salandit.
