I remember reading a scientific book in my high school library that said that there were less than a trillion atoms in the universe.
I really didn't get it. I couldn't figure if it was a joke book, a misprint or what. It was an old book, but even 100 years ago people would have understood that there had to be more than a trillion atoms in the universe.
It was a weird fucking book.

I don't think you understand how big the number 1 trillion is.

To put it into perspective:
1 million seconds is about 2 weeks.
1 billion seconds is about 32 years.

It is a MASSIVE number and I can fucking guarantee you that your mind is shrinking it down to 3 million just to cope. It is a staggeringly massive number.

Humans have been capable of speech for LESS THAN a trillion seconds.

Also that textbook is talking about the observable universe, as anything outside the observable universe effectively cannot exist from our perspective, at least according to our current understanding of physics.

The population of humanity is roughly 7 billion. A human has way more than 1000 atoms in them. Hell, we have more than 1000 cells.

That means there are more then 7 trillion atoms right there alone.

In fact, let me tell you just how wrong you are. The human body has 35+ trillion cells in it. Thats how far off you are.

Also that's not even remotely how physics works.
