I've been using a max candied Charizard Y and it's been doing great, it can get rid of Blocks so you can bring other stuff to grind exp with Whimsicott, and doesn't cause 100+ combos after you've finished the stage so you don't have to wait for that an hour for that shit to be over, my max combo is actually 317 because Rayquaza went mad on the Furfrou safari

I've got like 17 jewels (3DS from Day 1, don't look at me like that, I haven't spent nothin' on this game) and this special shop is looking tempting. Now that I have the winking ones, I really want to just blaze through the rest of the safari so I can get back to Meowth...and the escalation...and main stages. I guess the faster recharge time would probably be better than the half hour infinihearts.

First catch absolutely everything on the Safari, no exceptions, EVERYTHING, once you've done that buy the infinite hearts for an hour or whatever amount of time it was, and bring Pokemon you want to train to the Safari, Beedrill for example
Start doing Safari runs, if you stumble upon Sewaddle or shit like that quit the stage immediately, only do the stage whenever you find Whimsicott (100 exp, 200 for crowned mon) or Leavanny (Coin stage)
That's about the best way to use the special shop stuff, grinding it's like farming Ampharos and Meowth simultaneously

Went back to the escalation and I can't beat 151+ for the hell of it. Wasted more than five tries, so wtf.

M-Luke and M-Gardevoir were about equal in performance. Other stuff I used were Florges, Gallade and Pinsir. I could swap the latter for Keldeo-R, but it still seems like it won't be enough to win consistently.

At least I'm already done with the safari, in less than 20 hearts.

I stopped at 175, and I sometimes used M+5 for a safety net, but more often than not it wasn't necessary. My team was M-Heracross (lv 11), Gallade and Genesect (lv 10) and White Kyurem (lv 8). Maybe you could try something different too? Lucario and Gardevoir are absolute shit for combos, and you'll need big enough combos to rack up the damage.

Porygon-Z, Walrein, Malamar, Bisharp and Yanmega are all useless

Luxray is useless because most Water-type stages feature barriers, making his skill useless

Hydreigon is only useful for damage but since the introduction of Yveltal's Skill Swap, he also became useless especially now that Hoopa-U also does more damage and has a more useful skill than him so all the Dark-type teams will be Zoroark, Darkrai and a pick between BS+ Yveltal or Hoopa-U

Arcanine is useful I guess but Grass and Ice stages feature tons of disruptions, maybe if he can be raised to level 15 in the future he'll be an absolute beast since in these stages you are most inclined to bring Reshiram, Delphox and Ho-oh/Heatran/Memebird

That leaves with Poliwrath, whose skill is a nice thing to have and is actually useful in Fire/Rock/Ground stages

Besides I believe it is Keldeo, and we've got a shitload of useful Pyshic types for it: MMY, Uxie, Azelf, Alakazam (If Skill Boosted), Deoxys, Mew (If Skill Swapped) and Unown-!, I would add Mesprit and Cresselia but I believe Fighting Types can't be put to sleep and I don't remember but I think Keldeo didn't have any Barriers

What team? I was able to do them itemless with 20/20 M-Fug (Lvl 10), Gallade (Lvl 10, Skill Lvl 2), Florges (Lvl 8) and Groudon (Lvl 15, Skill Lvl 3), I would lose like 40% of the time, but at the end I made it

I know why not to bring it on 200, but why 175? I used M-Steelix, Keldeo, Genesect and Darkrai on 150 with M+5, MS, AP+ and won with 8 moves left. The only differences between 150 and 175 are a little less than 1000 more hp and the Darkrai disruptions look like they come faster, which means even more combos with Darkrai. 200 has Darkrai/Cress disruptions but 175 looks like I should use the 150 team for an easy win.

I dunno, Fug (20/20), Genesect (LvL11, I want to get higher though), Flogres (for Swap+) and Gallade (for Block Smash+). As other anon's have said at this point it's half skill, half luck, and M+5 will probably be necessary in the final stretch.

I'd recommend the same for you, but if you don't have Fug or the candies to spare, Heracross just because Crowd Control is decent and his megaeffect can combo decently, but honestly the blocks will fuck you up. Maybe Medicham but its an uphill battle.

thx to latest skill swapped mons a lot of stages that required items in the past can now be done itemless.

Mainly everything that involves Water Stages with Barriers (Milotic for example). Or like Rock stages with now 3 available SE BS+ (looking at you Rampardos for example).

Also LV5 Shaymin basically kills all Water/Ground stages toghether with Raikou and Zekrom.
And even when not effective is a great addition to any team.

What the hell, everything thats not immune to sleep will be dealt with the same team by me... M-Gengar, Shaymin and 2 SE to deal with the board. Once the stage starts I trigger Sleep Charm and use the 2 SE to clear disruptions. Mega Gengar is so quickly evolved that once the board is all clean the combos wont stop.

And dont let me start with Risk Taker Lando LV5. He is a literall beast

This was pretty much my rallying cry from 101 to 151, but my team doesn't have enough AP to take him down without friendly combos, and M-Luke isn't bringing me those. Bringing Volcarona along isn't exactly helping me either, and they're necessary with Hera.

Yeah, don't be too discourage, you're literally at the roughest stretch so far. I know they nerfed it but for a bit there it was basically needing full item runs for each stage minus complexity-1 (I think I actually needed it for Roserade though).

After Roserade really the only one that you need a fair amount of items for is Deoxys besides Mega Fug.

Alright, so I fixed things by swapping level 7 Florges out for level 11 Genesect and now I can keep going itemless no problem. Team is 20/20 M-Fug (10), Gallade (10), Genesect (11), Groudon (15, Quake level 4) and I'm now up to 198 (thanks anger +4) and I've only failed once due to skills not activating. Gonna do 200 after Sunday Meowth, time to get money again. I don't know if anyone else is still trying the climb to 200 this late in the game but if you are, good luck!

I'm pretty sure in the case of gender differences, Shuffle uses the male gender as a default. For example, Steelix, Hippowdon, Gyarados, Vileplume, Unfezant are all clearly male (I'm probably missing some others too). Then again, Sneasel (and possibly Weavile) does look to be female from the icon.

Charizard outclasses Moltres, even if you gave 5RML, and has burn.
If you ever have a team with an electric mon, you probably already have Ampharos and Zekrom then Shaymin and Tangrowth for water, and Tyranitar and Terrakon for Po4+ or Probopass/Gigalith for disruptions. Unless it also got RML.

Shitposting aside, I just used the same team I've used for every 25 interval stage, ALL MAX (important) Steelix, Genesect (level 11), Xerneas (skill level 4, I wanted RML candies buty at least useless ability is level 4 :^) and Machamp, although thinking back since 200 does Darkrai+Cresselia disruptions (at least they fixed the Cresselia glitch) you can use any better mon, maybe Heracross or Scizor (no, not meming) for Crowd Control/Swarm. Why swarm? Because, just like I said ALL MAX, using all items cept C-1 I won with 0 moves remaining.

If Gallade's already on your team then you're good. I did fine using M-Lucario/Gallade/Genesect/Xerneas. But if the blocks are still too much then you can swap Genesect out for Florges or Leavanny.
