According to one of the Chinese Riddler's leaks, Comfey is going to evolve into a humanoid Pokemon with its flower lei around its waist.

Looking at its design and typing, I can see this happening. It seems like it already has a feminine hairstyle, and I can see it being a successor to Flabébé (the way Conkeldurr was a successor to Machamp).

It'll probably function the same way Florges does, which is slow, defensive, and healing-oriented. It does get a better ability in Triage.
