The problem is that it was mainly gen 1 pokemon the ones that needed them most, something to spice up or improve the pokemon.

I like that Alolan Marowak is the first ghost type that's a channeler rather than a ghoul itself, nice inverse reference to Cubone's mother from the original. I don't necessarily like the marking on its head buts that's okay.
