Maybe showing multiple legendary Pokémon would have thrown kids off in the US.
The ending showed a Latias with two Latios so could have people think it was Latias flying with her father's and brother's spirits.
But the Japanese version has Latios and Latias just as siblings, not orphans. So the ending would make more sense in Japan.
So "Heroes" is the biggest fuck up 4kids ever did.

I still think it's a good movie because it shows Ash getting his only legit romantic kiss, the original gang together for the last time, and it's the first time a Pokémon dies on screen.
It's the only Pokémon movie I saw in theaters as a kid.

4Kids kept the Japanese music in Heroes and the script wasn't as bad as Movies 1-2, so no, i's not bad.

Also, the Blue Tint is TPCi's fault since they release the DVDs now and it's still there.

4Kids' Movie dubs were a thousand times better than TPCi's last two (17 & 18), and they improved with all 3 of their AG movie dubs as well.

At least 4Kids kept the Japanese music from 4Ever to Lucario: TPCi stopped doing that with Diancie and Hoopa, replacing almost all the Japanese music in both.

Also, TPCi have gotten more bullshit with edits than 4Kids were in all of AG's Movies (which are actually dubbed very well by 4Kids if you bother to watch them) with XY: just look at how much of an idiot TPCi made Ash out to be here.

I'm not even that Anon, but I honestly don't give a single fuck, since the modern day TPCi dub's Movies are far worse since Diancie began with the music, acting, and dialogue on top of the cuts they make, but people are still stuck in the past here ragging on outdated stuff:

"It's insane to think that the English dub of a Japanese movie would actually replace the instrumental background music in the year 2014 . Think about it for a second. This is something that hasn't been done to a Pokémon movie since Pokémon 3 The Movie way back in 2001. How much of this movie's target audience was even alive back then? This is something that 4Kids - 4-freaking-Kids, ladies and gentlemen! - decided was too stupid to continue doing. And yet here we are."
