These are all the type combinations that have not been used for a Pokemon, form change, or mega evolution.

I'd like to see a Ghost/Electric, Fire/Electric and Ice/Electric. Rotom forms have already claimed them so they're not new but you can't tell me you wouldn't be excited if they announced an entirely new pokemon with one of those type combinations. Grass/Electric too, to a lesser extent.

The idea's not too incomprehensible either way. Lightning is caused by the flow of hot and cold air, so maybe the Pokemon uses its ice abilities to cool the air and pseudo-science its way into creating lightning bolts that way? It could live at the top of mountains where it snows, and are responsible for the numerous lightning storms that plague it.

So some count of mountainous creature, like the goat an anon suggested, although I personally like the idea of a lizard best.

Ice type evolves into Ice/Electric as it masters the ability.

The northern lights, as we have seen in the game, electric pokemon are sometimes "light" pokemon (i.e. Lanturn), or magnetic pokemon (Magnezone and co.) maybe an animal based on the Aurora, since it is asociated with thundra, lights, and magnetism.
It's really the only way to go.

Well physical psych would be part of its niche.
I had come up with some signature moves for it and created some physical psychic moves too, but it's been so long I can't remember.
That being said; it really only needs one move to be viable anyhow

Ice/poison is a combo I've always wanted

It's crazy there hasn't been an Electric/Fighting type. I want Poison/Psychic, Ghost/Fighting and Bug/Dragon the most. A Fairy/Ground fairy armadillo too.

Just take any creature that can naturally produce electricity in real life and have it live in snow rather than water. Since nearly all creatures that can do so are aquatic. There's electric rays, catfish, and sharks.

In my opinion, Electric has too many unused types. Luxray and Mega Manectric could've easily been Dark Type. Electivire could've been Fighting, which probably would move it to RU at least. It would also get STAB from Low Kick. An Electric Fighting sweeper with pseudo-BoltBeam coverage and EQ would have the best possible type coverage, granted it has good Fighting STAB.

Tl;Dr: Make more Electric types.
