Moon Lugarugan is most likely Rock/Dark or maybe Rock/Fighting, both of which, while horrible on defense, would be great typings assuming it's fast with good attacking stats to take advantage of two amazing STABs, which it seems to be just from design alone.

Sun Lugarugan looks to be another pure Rock type given that it's more or less just an "it gets bigger" Rockruff, but maybe it could get Ground typing too. Those typings aren't as good offensively as Moon Lugarugan's possibilities and are only slightly better defensively, but it gets Rock priority so it could definitely still be useful with good stats. I suppose another possibility could be Rock/Fairy if they want to sell up it's role as a counterpart to the more edgy and evil Moon form which would be a great typing.

That's literally one of the definitions of something being "anthro", ie, human-like. And like I said, furries are just as likely to take a quadrupedal pokemon like, say, Ninetales, and turn it anthropomorphic as they would do with real animals.

There is no such thing as a "pokemon that attracts furries" because just about every Pokemon that could fall into the categories of looking beautiful, cute, or strong will attract furries because they're attracted to a cute cat or fox in the same way normal people are attracted to a cute girl.

Point is, it's dumb to complain about a Pokemon looking furry, especially something like Moon Lugarugan in comparison to Sun, since they're both the kind of Pokemon that would attract furfags, and if anything the Sun version is even more likely, given that it looks more cute, docile, and beautiful than the Moon version. Being bipedal or looking edgy doesn't matter because furries are just going to apply those traits to things they like anyways.

I want to see it in motion first before I pass judgment.

I'm actually not one of the people who hates on Moonpupper too much, the design just isn't that appealing to me in general. I do think they could have pulled off a werewolf a lot better than this, though, edgy or not.

I honestly love both the day and night evolutions/forms. I'm normally one of the more vocal ones about certain pokemon being blatant furshit, but I can look past that with moon wolf somehow. Maybe because it being a battling cartoon werewolf warrants the slightly anthropomorphic form and edginess.
