As an HO and HO user, I love this shit.

The amount of ohkos and 2hkos it ensures its just impossible to pass.

Without them the games would drag on and on and on...also fuck sashes and multiscale.

It's the only entry-hazard that has a type that gets factored in, whereas Spikes does no extra damage to things weak to Ground.

It can do as much damage to a Flying mon as 3x Spikes to a non-Flying mon - and it only needs one fucking turn to set up.

Only good point is that it can hurt flying types, what spikes can't do. But it needs a fucking nerf, why spikes need 3 layers to do 25% when one layer of rock can easily 25% half the game ?
Remove type effectiveness and don't hurt rock types / make these last 5 turns / absorbed by rock mons / anything that bring these to spikes level.

I hate it so much I want them to make another one that's Grass type. Sure it's a much worse move in theory since so many types resist it, and fewer are weak to it, but it is SE against water, and I'm tired of those little shits winning the lottery on virtually everything. Weather related abilities in type, not weak to any types with priority (because for some reason electric can't do this) while getting their own. Four resists- three highly relevant while only weak to two types. One can't switch in on them and the other one of the is one of the worst offensive types in the game. And almost all of 'em die to Ice Beam...

lets say something like stealth icicle, same as rocks but with ice, but overrides rocks if they are already on the field, you have to chose between rocks and ice

It's nice, I won't lie, but in the end its only ever profitable to use specifically against water types. Its otherwise a grossly inferior Ice Beam. But hey, since ice types also suffer from really shitty move pools a special attacker might actually have room for both.

Now they need a bug type (web) that hits flying, and a poison type acid that hits steel.

I agree. Rock and Ice are both SE against Flying, and except for Dragon which isn't used much since every other new Pokemon was made Fairy, it has nothing over Rock. It's not the buff Ice needs; Ice needs to lose a weakness and hit something new for SE.
