Just played this game and did 100%, I never gave it a chance before but a thread in /v/ made I remember it.

It's a great 3D platformer, very fun and straightforward and with creative level design, I will play 2 and 3 now.

Thoughts on DQ and Yo-Kai? Ive never been much into DQ, only DQ Monsters: Joker which I love (basically DQ Pokémon) nor am I much into traditional JRPG (enjoyed FF5 and Bravely Default)

DQVII is great and also long as fuck, it has a job system like FFV and Bravely but it doesn't work in quite the same way to my knowledge. I'm actually just about to unlock the job system though so I'm not certain. Though if you're not a fan of traditional JRPG's I dunno if you'll like DQ as it's about as traditional as it gets.

As for Yo-Kai Watch, I liked the first, but it seems pretty hit or miss. Recruitment is similar to the GBC DQM games is the best comparison to something else I can really make. I'd definitely just pick up 2 when it comes out if you want to give the series a try since it improves just about everything.

Highly reccomend you cheat the money you will need for the Keep later on. You basically have to choose between improving the Keep and getting halfway decent equipment. Of course if you're playing a wizard or something, go nuts.

Make sure you play Mask of the Betrayer too, that's one of the best damn DLCs. Storm of Zehir is highly underrated but it definitely doesn't come close to MotB.

But you may already know all this so carry on I suppose.

I already cheated in my Eldritch Knight chain shirt (70000 Gold for 4 armor and a worthless feat? no thanks) so I think I'm OK there, but I've kind of lost interest because enemy casters always get to cast first because of the lack of auto-pausing and I've died twice to them constantly bombarding my mages.

I agree MotB is great, but you miss out on a ton if you don't play through the OC first so I'm doing that. Or at least, trying to. It's hard to choose between my face character and my crafting character and you can only do Fort Locke so many times over an 8 year period.

Just finished up another playthrough of Super Mario 64.

When I was around 7 or 8 I caught every monkey bar one in this game. It was on the last level in a room hidden away somewhere.

I liked it, but what I didn't like was how my playstyle did not match my moral choices.

I'm playing Pokémon X. Again. But this time I'm exclusively using Pokémon from Wonder Trades. Sableye is probably gonna be my new bro by the end of this. I'm also playing Alpha Sapphire to get those assloads of legendaries I've neglected to catch.

As for non-Pokémon games, I got Scribblenauts Unlimited, Injustice Ultimate Edition, and Shadow of Mordor GOTY for cheap over the weekend, so I'll probably play those too.

I think what makes these games easy are horde battles, every time you engage a horde you get 2-3 reinforcements showing up so you end up with a shitload of exp.

Normally in SMT games i never attempt to run since sometimes a turn is all the enemy needs to fuck you up so i end up fighting lots of hordes, i'm around Shesha round two and so far it's been pretty easy, i think the most i struggled with a boss was 1 lose and it was due overlapping weaknesses.

Just got a new 3ds after about a year of not having one. Have they always had a slight gap on the screen hinge? My screen can slide left and right about 1-2mm. Kind of annoying. Is this normal?
