The Pokemon World Tournament was fun honestly. It fits the stupid advertisement slogan fopr Sun/Moon and Pokemon's 20th Anniversary "it all comes together" bullshit. It would at least make some sense to have it on there. But I doubt GF would be smart enough to do that

PWT's inclusion wouldn't make a lot of sense, considering that there's no Pokémon league in Alola. No gyms, no elite 4, no champion.

So I see three options:

1: No PWT. The post game is either something new, or possibly a retread of the battle maison or something.

2: A new post game area to justify the PWT. Basically a new battle frontier that operates as a proving ground before you can take on the tournament.

3:A robust post game with gyms and a Pokémon league. It's been suggested that we'll be returning to Kalos for the Post game, like Kanto in gold and silver. If that's the case, then you could presumably take on the league challenge there and defeat the champion, thus gaining entrance to the PWT.

I think option 1 is probably most likely, but I'd love to see 3.

A lot of prestigious competitions are held in either major cities or luxury/vacation destinations. PWT in an equivalent to Hawaii would make a lot of sense, actually.
