I personally don't have much to say, good OR bad, about Gen V. It's like a big fucking blank in my memory.

Bless Sinnoh babies. When I first started using /vp/ (right near the board's creation, though I've been using 4chan since '06) it was mostly the Gen 1/Gen 2 crowd. Lots of people hated Gen 3 it was glorious.
Then hoenn babies got old enough and ruined the board with their shitty games (and shitty remakes).
So glad the Sinnoh babies are growing up to pester you guys, even if their taste in remakes are shit. I at least enjoyed their games.
I've been playing since '98. Best games are: Gen 5 > Gen 4 = Gen 1 = Gen 2 > Gen 6 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Gen 3
Remakes: HGSS (based on crystal, so no contest.) > FRLG (faithful to the originals) > ORAS.
If ORAS actually was smart and did the fucking emerald route it might've beat FRLG just because of the dexnav and slight story improvements, but they were cunts and didn't so it just leaves me continual bitter.
