Not really. Racism isn't really an issue and the media isn't becoming 'saturated' with foreigners. There's the K-Pop trend about a year or so ago and a few instances of half-Japanese girls representing Japan in Miss World but not 'saturated', not even close.

Not necessarily, once again those are Western principles - Things are a lot more live-and-let-live in Japan. Only the really standout Love Live fans that have made the media for their obsessiveness have had anything slightly close to that.

If you tell a Japanese person that you like anime that features cute, young girls they wouldn't mind and would have the opinion that as long as you're not creepy yourself it's not an issue. This is implying you're Japanese too, if you say that as a foreigner they'll care even less because they know that anime is a popular export with foreigners. Everyone I've spoken to is happy that people in other countries enjoy Japanese anime even if they don't like it themselves.
