Him getting Sunruff would be the safe choice but him getting Moonruff would be pretty interesting.

Pretty sure he's getting Rowlet, its on his shoulder/back in the pic. That takes up one Starter AND token bird slot.

Would be my guesses. I mean Popplio is already owned by one of the trial captains and Mallow doesn't seem to have a Rowlet. Yet Ash is shown with Litten in both the trailer&the leaks while the poster shows him with Rowlet close by. I'd wait for more information I guess.

Him having nightdoggo would be interesting since it would be an "evil/bad" pokemon, so the character development there would be great to see. But at the same time, Litten3 would also fit that theme and it's a starter as well.

I think Rockruff will either be new Brock's 'mon or his rival's.

Based on the poster Ash will have Rowlet and Rotom. Assuming Rotom counts as part of his party that just leaves room for Pikpek and two more. Normally I'd say a Water and Fire type but after Ash failed to catch a Grass type in Kalos it's a little harder to predict.

Personally I'm hoping he gets a Pokémon with an Alolan form.
