My favorite type is Ghost and my second favorite and other Pokémon in my top are ghosts.

The best ghosts are Gengar (nice design) and Cofagrigus (nice concept, nice design, incredibly awesome).

Well, yeah, Misdreavous is more Japanese, but that's mostly because it's based off a creature from Japanese mythology. Cofagrigus is based off an Egyptian stone casket. The only part of it that's 'cartoony' are it's noodly appendages, and those look the way they do to convey their ethereal nature, as well as accentuate Cofagrigus' creepiness. Those hands look ready to grope. Which, in a way, makes it the most Japanese of all the Pokémon.
