Part of it is my bad, because I didn't read your whole fanfiction.
The sets are copy paste because I wanted them to be basic competitive sets.
The nicknames are there because this is for fun.
Torterra was supposed to be on the main team, that's why the hasty editing.
The Alts are because it's fun and I like more ground types than 6.
You're forgetting Flygon, Salamence, Druddigon, Hydreigon, and if you want it to be for a school you're definitely forgetting Altaria. Who would be a much more fitting ace.

Comfy Badge.

The gym doesnt have any puzzles, its just a room with some trainers around. The gym leader is a normal (pun intended) guy. He is lazy as fuck, but when it comes to battling he is very competitive and he gives his all, getting angry when he loses. The gym opens at 12 A.M. because he sleeps a lot.

When I get home I'll try to integrate some more 'dragon-like' dragons, but let me explain myself:
I tried to have a Fire, Water and Grass and Electric dragon to propagate the idea of an early Trainer School gym in the full team, but since the only non-legendary Grass and Electric dragons are both megas, I opted for Sceptile instead of Ampharos, because the starter trio has Grass.
I also wanted all members of the rematch team to have a different secondary typing. Again, because school.

Your gym is much better looking now as well. I want to challenge it/10

Sceptile is a pretty comfy mon imo. It could be dressed up as a Christmas Tree for the kids But, I changed it to Exeggutor I completely forgot that it was also a Dragon now to fit the theme better also because muh starter type mirrors.
I changed the mega to Altaria. I still like Goo.dra more, but admittedly Altaria is a better fit here and I changed Garchomp to Flygon.

Decided to make another one.

The gym is a huge Chinese themed restaurant where the trainer must turn a dial with three settings (Mild, Hot, and Burning) which raises or lowers multiple elevators. The hot-blooded Gym Leader XiaoHua waits on the fourth floor, ready to overwhelm the trainer with her Pokemon's non-stop offense!
