The game doesn't really "explain" it right there in the Delta episode itself, but it's pretty clear why she should want to stop what Devon was doing to try and deal with the meteor given the information outside of it explaining what infinite energy is and why it could be considered morally wrong in universe for them to go through with their plan. They wanted the player to sympathize with her because she was correct to want to stop them, but that doesn't mean that she had to be a "good" character actions-wise to do that.
