Dont bother with pearl. Platinum is way superior to it. Still prefers SS though. (Or HG is even better, in my opinion. Ho-Oh's more fun)

Just play platinum. If there's a certain pokemon you need that isn't obtainable there, just inject/cheat or something. The horrible battle speed, etc in DP is way too painful.
