What is your opinion about Z-Moves?

I think this new gimmick is geared more towards children. Especially because of the dancing and the flashy effects.

I don't think there are enough options. I mean, I like them, but I worry what they want them to be for the series. They want these to be turn around moves. Something to make matches not always so straight forward. But will that mean that they will be powerful enough for that purpose? Will they end up being so powerful that they are expected that everyone uses them? At that point, it just becomes mundane, just like Megas.

So while I will enjoy them in the story, for competative, it will probably just turn out meh.

I don't mind them but will probably only use them once or twice offline just for the satisfaction of the flashy effects. When it comes to actually completing the game, they're probably a bit too OP, not like the thing is gonna be hard in the first place. In competitive that'll depend if they're any good.

Feel kind of like overkill honestly.
We already got megas as a way to "Spice up" pokemon with a new gimmick.

I figured they'd atleast run the mega train into the ground for 2-3 gens before they came up with a brand new "Power up" ability.

Z-Moves are shallow, flashy garbage. This is going to be a shitty meta for sure.

Z moves will be really fucking overpowered in the 3v3 singles online battles

It takes up another item slot with those Z stones, one that could already be taken up by Mega stones.
I don't know why they didn't just stick with Megas.
