No, it is pretty clear from the trailer that only Red is being followed. Did you see any other MC? No. Did you see Red replacing the MCs in scenes from other games? Yes. It is all Red now. Accept it already.

It never showed Red with Reshiram or any legendary with any plot significance to the games and their MCs. It will be a side story of Red going to the other regions to capture legendaries after becoming champ, at least for the first few episodes.

I think Gen V had the best character designs.

But the worst Pokemon designs. The only designs I truly LOVE in Gen V are the Vanillite line and the Litwick line.
