It's a little weird. The other thing is the anime version of the meteorite from the Delta Episode (the one that fell 3000 years earlier, not the one threatening to fall in the present) which Lysandre stole and infused with Zygarde's power turning it into a non-sentient copy of Zygarde. It was trying to reach the sundial in Anistar City because reuiniting with it would have the same effect as the Ultimate Weapon from XY and reset the world. Perfect Zygarde fires the Core Enforcer to destroy it, killing Lysandre in the process since he was on it.
