The animation is really fluid and generally on par with most anime, if not better in some places. It's probably a step up overall from XY since XY's animation was really only great in battles.

It's really not. The art style is different but the general animation is fluid and clean for a kids anime like Pokemon.

It's about on the same level as XY was. The trailer features a lot of fluid movement but I can't say for sure it'll stay like that for the entire series. Certainly a step up from the past seasons before XY that's for damn sure.

I think the visual style and animation looks great, reminds me somewhat of Medabots and the early Digimon movies, but Ash's face should've kept the XY proportions.
