Not with all that pointless filler it isn't. Outside of gyms, the league and capture episodes, very few Johto episodes were genuinely interesting, and Ash's team was utter shite. You occasionally had the odd Whirl Cup, Red Gyarados or Lugia episodes. But other than that, nothing really entertained.
Movies were baller as fuck though.
