We have what animals do you want as pokemon threads, so why don't we have a what plants do you want as pokemon threads. A lot of unused potential and ideas. You don't even have to make them grass type.

We haven't had a fern pokemon yet, so a tree fern would be neat.
Grass Fighting with spore and fluffy since they used to use these to make shitty pillows.
It could use the uncurling fronds like fists and the open ones to cut. The prevo could be a grass type based on a more standard fern.

I just want a fucking water lily pokemon. It can float underwater with the water lily that grows on it to look like an ordinary plant. Maybe make it an octopus or squid or something. Grass/Water.

Dictamnus inspired fire/grass.
The genus Dictamnus produces a volatile oil like substance which is easily inflammable. Easily enough that a temperature of ~35°C is enough to set the gas on fire and there are quite a few people who believe that the biblical burning bush is supposed to be Dictamnus.

- Grass/(Poison/Dark/Ghost) type inspired by Polygonatum odoratum (also known as Solomon's seal)
- Grass/(Dark/Water) based on Sundews
