So, I'm leaving for basic training the 18th of November. As many of us that frequent VP know, that's the day SM are set to be released. So unfortunately, I won't get to play the game on launch. What I'm writing in to ask is; what're the chances the game will leak early and I'll be able to play it on my CFW 3DS as compared to previous releases of Pokemon games and potential early leaks? Thanks in advanced for the replies, VP and I envy you all for getting to play the game before myself.

Reserve. Don't have to go into combat. Get 50,000 in student loan repayment. College completely paid for. 1000 bucks a month for literally doing nothing AND 10,000 sign on for my job. Literally easy money.

The earliest they'll possibly leak is late October because of based China not giving a fuck about anyone but I'm sure Nintendo and TPCi have China on lockdown.
They'll most definetely get leaked at least a week before they officially release, so expect a dump around November 10th at the very latest.

ORAS cartridge dump occurred on November 20th at about 1 AM PST.
S/M will not leak from the CDN -- it'll be prepurchasable, and the 128-bit non-bruteforceability of seed crypto will protect from CDN leaks.
I would expect a cartridge leak between 1 and 5 days before sun/moon's official release.
You will probably have between 24 and 72 hours to play the game, if you're stalking leaks without sleeping the way I'm planning on doing (for datamining), though around 24-36 is what I'm expecting.
